The following is a short list of basic shops available within a 40 min walk from King's College and Hillhead Campuses.  These descriptions are only a guide to approximate price ranges.  You will find many more shops during your first few weeks.

£ - Small prices

Books/Stationery: Asda, Costco, Bookends (in The Hub)
Clothing: Charity shops, Primark, New Look, TK Maxx

££ - Medium prices
Food: Morrison's, Tesco, Spar
Household: Morrison's, John Lewis' value range
Books/Stationery: WH Smith, Waterstone's, Blackwells
Clothing: Anywhere in the Bon Accord, St Nicholas or Trinity shopping centres

£££ - High prices
Food: Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer
Household: John Lewis (other ranges)
Books/Stationery: Staples, Hub Store
Clothing: Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Thistle Street boutiques, the Academy and Union Square shopping centres
