International Students

As an international student, you may be unsure of what is expected of you in academic work at the University of Aberdeen. While expectations will differ from programme to programme, the University offers a series of generic workshops, study-advice sessions and on-line resources to help orientate you to post-graduate work in the University.

Newly arrived students can feel overwhelmed by all there is to do to set up life in a new place; setting up a bank account; registering with a doctor; understanding public transportation, and finding the best places to shop. The University has tried to anticipate your questions and put together on-line information to ease your transition to life in the University and in Scotland.
