Information team:
- Source and organise over 2500 information resources on our virtual library and maintain and develop a well-stocked library in the Careers Service.
- Manage a database of around 2000 employers and over 400 vacancies.
- Help you locate career related information both in our library and online.
- Help you find answers to information-related queries.

Careers Advisers:
Provide specialist support through individual interviews to students in each academic subject / area. Interviews are impartial and confidential and you should be able to book an appointment within 14 days.
- Answer your quick queries via the bookable "duty" service.
- Deliver a range of career planning talks and workshops within academic disciplines – workshops can be arranged for groups of 8 or more students on topics such as CV Writing, Interview Technique, Assessment Centres; just email careers@abdn.ac.uk.

Co-curricular team:
The Careers Service also delivers a wide range of co-curricular opportunities to help students develop their transferable skills, build their CV and achieve Aberdeen Graduate Attributes. The remit of the Co-curricular Team based within the Careers Service is broad and includes the promotion, co-ordination and evaluation of:
- The STAR (Students Taking Active Roles) Award
- Career mentoring
- Work placement opportunities
- The BP Student Tutoring Scheme
- Study abroad
- Entrepreneurship and enterprise events
