Careers Subject Representatives Opportunity
The Careers Service is recruiting Careers Subject Representatives!
The Careers Service is recruiting students from all years of study and subject areas to act as an interface between the student body and the Careers Service. Activities could include giving feedback to the Careers Service about the types of activities your fellow classmates would like to see offered by the Careers Service, circulating posters within your department advertising subject-related careers activities and opportunities and giving lecture shouts about forthcoming events and opportunities.
How much time will I need to invest?
This really depends on how involved you would like to be in the role. We do need people who will be reliable and enthusiastic and who are able to attend a small number of events and check emails and a designated Facebook group (to be established) regularly.
What do I get out of it?
Involvement in any position of responsibility is an excellent addition to any CV as well as giving you a fantastic opportunity to learn some valuable skills to take away with you into employment. This role has been approved by the STAR award for the bronze level so you will be given the opportunity to participate in this award. Find out more about STAR
