Gastech Student Programme - October 2012 - an opportunity to learn about the natural gas industry

The Gastech conference brings together thousands of commercial and technical industry professionals for unrivalled networking, new business opportunities, the exchange of ideas and to showcase the latest innovations, technologies and developments across the gas value chain.

As part of the conference there is a Student Programme held in London on 9th October 2012.

The programme is designed to offer final-year university students and recent graduates the opportunity to listen to a full day of high level speakers from various disciplines within the natural gas industry.

The exclusive programme aims to provide student & graduate attendees with a better understanding of the industry, an awareness of the career development available and the opportunity to have industry questions answered by the most experienced and respected people.

The day will be composed of three conference sessions and a final Case Study session in which a problem solving exercise will be put forward. Students will  be split into small groups to find a solution and asked to present their findings. The Case Study session was a great success in 2011, encouraging students to put into practice what they had learnt during the day, as well as giving students the chance to showcase their abilities to prospective employers.
