Advertise Vacancies

With over 20,000 page views on our website each month, the Careers Service already enjoys a high profile with our students.

You can advertise your vacancies with us in the following ways:

Post a Vacancy Online

Your vacancies can be advertised through our online jobs board free of charge. The system is quick and easy to use and allows you to create, edit and copy vacancies.

An additional benefit of using our vacancy-advertising service is that we participate in the Scottish Shared Vacancy Service. This service enables you to promote your vacancies to students across Scotland faster and more efficiently. Our 'one-stop-shop' currently involves the universities of  Aberdeen, Abertay, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian, Heriot-Watt, Napier, Stirling, Strathclyde, St Andrews and the West of Scotland.

Please note that the Shared Vacancy Service is only for graduate jobs and internships. Casual/ part-time vacancies are advertised by the University of Aberdeen Student Association (phone 01224 274200 for more information).

All vacancies submitted online will be checked by us before being posted live on the website. We reserve the right to refuse to advertise a vacancy without further explanation, and may edit your vacancy as we see appropriate.

Read our code of practice for accepting vacancies from recruitment agencies.

Distribute Posters

Posters advertising vacancies, closing dates, attendance at our fairs and campus presentations can be distributed to noticeboards on campus on your behalf at no charge. Our general circulation number is 20 posters and A4 are preferred. If posters relate to a presentation on campus please provide us with the posters at least 4 weeks in advance of the event.

We can also distribute posters to specific departments on your behalf. Simply specify which department you wish to have your posters sent to and inform us of this when you send us your posters.

Please note
As a result of space restrictions, we are unable to accept hard copy information, such as brochures and fliers.
