Alice KigerQualifications: RN, RCNT, RNT, DipN, BA (French), MA (History), MSc (Nursing Education), PhD (Nursing)

Appointments: Senior Lecturer (part-time)

Research Interests: Professional socialisation; comparative nursing education; learning styles; nursing role and development; qualitative methods; health policy issues.

Teaching Interests: Professional ethics; research methods; learning and teaching styles/methods and mentoring; health education; systems of education (especially nursing and medical)

Other Interests: National and international issues in nursing/nursing education; nursing image. Associate Professor at Visoka Šola za Zdravstveno Nego Jesenice, Slovenia, teaching of ethics and clinical teaching/mentoring in the Masters program.  Visiting lecturer and external course reviewer, University of Malta.

Outside Interests: Travel, classical music, reading, languages (especially French, Hungarian and Slovenian)
