Themes Academic Primary Care has an established reputation in several key areas of primary care research. APC's current strengths centre around two main themes:
All teams conduct research that cuts across our two main themes.
MRC funded EOPIC Study (Engaging with Older People to Develop and Deliver Interventions for the Self-management of chronic pain)
Academic Primary Care runs a programme of regular research seminars. These feature presentations of research from members of the Centre's own research teams and from invited external speakers.

The department has produced Standard Operating Procedures that provide specific guidance for staff in several important areas of research activity. These have been brought together in a manual that can be viewed by clicking on the link below.
