The University of Aberdeen's Flexible Delivery Symposium was aimed at the University’s teaching staff, with the main event taking place on Tuesday 19th May 2009, with hands-on workshops and online activities organised for the 20th May.
Flexible Delivery encompasses everything from designing a more student-centred curriculum right through to providing more flexible opportunities for study. The aims of the Symposium were to showcase the inspirational practice that currently goes on within the University, raise awareness of flexible delivery issues, provide a ‘talking shop’ for staff to discuss related ideas and concerns, enable the sharing of expertise and best practice and provide an opportunity for staff to try out relevant technologies and see examples of their use.
