Careers in finance increasingly depend upon a firm understanding of the foundations of investment behaviour and of the implications of complex developments in the structure of the global financial environment. In drawing from internationally recognised expertise in the fields of Finance, Accountancy and Economics, students develop an awareness of what drives investment behaviour, therefore prices and returns, in the contemporary world of finance. The programme provides students with the skills to identify appropriate tools for the analysis of issues in areas such as investment analysis, fund management and financial regulation.

Economics of Health applies economic thinking to the analysis of health and health care. It is a relatively young sub-discipline but has grown rapidly. This MSc programme is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career as a professional health economist or who wish to undertake a PhD. Health economics is typically applied in multidisciplinary settings. This is reflected within the course providing you with health economics skills alongside generic economic and health service research skills.
The MSc Real Estate considers the creation and management of value in property from the perspectives of economics, finance, investment and business. It sets property markets in the wider context of the local, national and international economies as well as national and international capital markets. The MSc Real Estate is accredited by the RICS, allowing graduates to proceed to the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence and full professional membership of the RICS. The degree has been running for over 20 years and employment prospects are good with many past graduates holding senior positions within the profession.

Successful management has become increasingly dependent upon a robust understanding and effective management of innovation. To address this challenge, this MSc considers a range specific topics in innovation and change management, and business development, in addition to key topics in generic management to provide students with a solid foundation for the understanding of management in the age of innovation. The programme is aimed both at those who want a management education to prepare them to enter a business development or organisational change management role, or even start their own business, and at those interested in a research or academic career in innovation or technology management, and organisational change.

Our Masters in Business Administration is a one year full time programme designed to help you develop the practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to advance your career in business. The MBA will develop your knowledge, skills and understanding through a mixture of workshops, tutorials, lectures and business simulations. The MBA Faculty will use a range of different methods to engage you in the programme including case study analysis, project work and group discussions.
