The University collaborates with a wide range of industry partners in addition to the public and third sectors in research projects across the full spectrum of our research expertise. A number of sources provide funding for collaborations between industry and universities.
We work closely with clients in all sectors of business and industry and use our in-house expertise and resources to meet their needs. We also draw on our extensive external contacts, including our partner institutions to offer multi-disciplinary solutions for clients. Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a UK Government funded knowledge transfer mechanism designed to increase the competitiveness of the UK's industrial base. The University of Aberdeen is part of the North of Scotland KTP Centre which supports projects with partners across Grampian, the Highlands and Islands and the rest of the UK.
Innovation Vouchers provide funding to allow the University to assist SMEs to introduce innovation into their business, products and services.
