Burnet Psalter image.  University of Aberdeen. A hymn to the Guardian Angel, who climbs the prophet's ladder to heaven (Genesis, 28:12), learns the will of God, and descends to the world to serve mankind, where he continues, nevertheless, to rejoice in God's countenance.
