Prayer, Benedicatur hora in.



A prayer blessing the hour of Christ's birth and blessing the Virgin Mary. The author asks that through them his prayers may be heard and that he may be filled with goodwill.


Benedicatur hora in qua deus ho\mo natus est et illa gloriosa ac\ mitissima virgo de qua deus ho\mo natus est sit benedicta et per illam glo\riosam virginem de qua deus homo natus\ est et per illam sanctissimam horam in qua\ deus homo natus est exaudiantur preces\ mee et impleatur desiderium meum in bonum\ Amen.


Prayer, Ave et gaude.



A prayer of salutation to the Virgin Mary. The author asks that she may have mercy on him and on all Christian people, that she may keep him from mortal sin, enabling him instead to fulfil her will.


Ave et gaude virgo\ Maria mater dei et domini nostri Ihesu\ Christi. Regina celi domina mundi im\peratrix inferni mater casti consilii miserere\ mei et tocius populi Christiani et ne permittas\ me mortaliter peccare sed tuam sanctissimam\ voluntatem adimplere. Amen.

Hymn, Gaude virgo concipiens.



A hymn to the Virgin Mary, invoking her five joys and asking that she might give us peace.
