O domina glorie o regina leticie, o fons\ pietatis et misericordie leva sanctitatis uber\tatis iocunditatis et amenitatis.\ O splendor celi dulcedo paradysi iocunditas\ dei angelorum gloria sanctorum, leticia virginum gem\ma. Tibi domina gloriosa commendo me in\ hac die et in hac nocte et in omni tempore\ corpus meum et animam meam mortem meam et\ resurrectionem meam. Tu benedicta domina in\eternum permanes cum domino nostro Ihesu Christo. Qui\ cum deo patre et spiritu sancto vivit et regnat deus\ per omnia secula seculorum. Amen.\

A hymn to the Virgin Mary (HL, 2, pp 361-3). The author seeks refuge with her and asks her to save him. There is none sweeter, more humble, more exalted than she; no sinner who commends himself to her will perish. He asks her to have mercy on him ...
