Folio 53v

Miscellaneous prayers, mainly to Jesus Christ, continued.

Prayer, Adoro te domine, continued.

The author asks Christ to hear her in her grief and to comfort her. She asks that, as he admonished his disciples and as he prayed to God, he may teach her to pray in such a way that her prayers may be heard; that through the virtue of his bloodlike sweat, he may turn her suffering into joy; that he may give a sign so that her enemies may see how he had helped and comforted her.
