A prayer to the Holy Trinity, asking for protection against evil spirits.


Sancta trinitas atque indivisa uni\tas omnipotens eterne deus spes unica\ mundi qui fecisti celum et terram\ qui montes atque maria tuo semper munimi\ne gubernas tibi commendo animam meam cor\pus quoque cogitaciones ac verba atque omnes\ actus meos ut me a malignis spiritibus defen\das et in eorum potestatem non me deseras neque\ nunc neque in futuro sed graciam tuam michi om\ni hora concedas. Qui vivis.

Prayer, Ave domine Ihesu.



A prayer saluting Jesus Christ (see folio 72r), the word of the father, the praise of angels, the glory of the father of peace, the light of heaven, the sweet way etc, alternating with a salutation to the Virgin Mary.

Ave domine Ihesu Christe verbum patris filius\ virginis, agnus dei salus mundi\ hostia sacra verbum caro fons pi\etatis.

Ave virgo de qua nasci
et de cuius lac\te pasci
rex celorum voluit

Ave Ihesu Christe laus\ angelorum gloria sanctorum visio pacis deitas inte\gra verus homo flos et fructus virginis\ matris.
