Saint Thomas.

Hymn, Gaude lux Londoniarum.



A hymn commemorating St Thomas (see AH, 29, p 89). The London-born archbishop of Canterbury was exiled by King Henry II but, hearing the voice of Christ (GL, p 69), he returned to England, where he was martyred.
