Hymn, Sancte Iohannes baptista electe, continued.
The author asks that he may not suffer the darkness of hell but attain to the
company of the elect.
sibiles et invisibiles et defende me ut in hora ex\itus mei horrendas non paciar

Hymn, Gaude pater via.
A hymn commemorating St John the Evangelist (AH, 29, p 107). He is the father
of the evangelists, a shining star, a virgin, to whom Christ committed his
mother.
