British Society of Animal Science Scholarships has a several schemes available for younger people wanting to undertake short projects or travel in pursuit of their career. In 2005, this was extended to provide grants of up to £1000 under the Murray Black Award for travel and research projects that consider the role of domestic and wild animals and their science in the enhancement and maintenance of the rural environment.
