Folio 4r Commentary

Folio 4r f4r blank page, with green seeping through from 4v. This page and f3v were intended to be glued together to prevent the pricking on f3 from damaging f4v. The blank pages suggest that the pouncing was carried out as soon as f3 was complete. This leaf was also unsuitable for use because of the green seepage.
