Programme

Detailed information on the programme for Applicant Day, the Evening Reception and the Subject Displays is available from the menu to the left.

The programme for the Science and Engineering Applicant Day has been designed so as to allow you to personalise your visit by choosing from a number of activities. You will have the opportunity to visit subject stands to chat with academic staff about your chosen area of study, attend short information sessions on student life, finances, student support, study abroad and career advice, and go on guided tours of the campus, our new library and our world class sports facilities at the Aberdeen Sports Village. In the afternoon there will be a variety of demonstrations and talks with academic staff in their departments to give you a full flavour of what is on offer.

A 'left luggage' stand will be available at registration, to save you carrying any luggage you have around with you all day.

For those staying in Aberdeen on the evening of the 26th, we will be holding an evening event where we hope to welcome you with an informal chance to meet other applicants, and academics and students from the University.

To register now, fill in our online form.

A full programme for the day will also be included in your applicant pack which you will receive upon registration on the day.

University Library

In the schedule, there is an opportunity to attend a talk about our new library, which opened its doors for the first time on 12 September 2011, and the services available for students. We will also be offering tours of the library throughout the morning. If you would like more information about the library ahead of your visit, visit the Library website for a comprehensive introduction to library services and resources for Science and Engineering students.
