Walking Diary

Here you can download the project walking diary and get involved in the project. The diary is called 'A week in the walking life of Aberdeen' and is intended for people living in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The idea is that you record all the walking outdoor that you do over the course of seven days, together with anything that happens when you are walking or any comments that you wish to pass on. Full instructions are given at the start of the diary.

So far, people filling in the diary have included dog-walkers, commuters, hill-walkers and many others. But what comes through is the variety of walking that people do during a week: even a short trip to the shops can be a time for reflection, exploration or exercise.
