The BBC weather pages contain Scottish and Aberdeen forecasts, including a 5-day forecast, UK rain radar animations, satellite pictures and weather on a European and world stage. The Met office offer a 3-day Northern Scotland forecast. A more comprehensive statement of current local conditions is available as the Dyce hourly weather report for the last 24 hours.
The Very Useful UK Weather Page gives quick access to synoptic charts, satellite pictures and regional forecasts.
Forecast charts from 3 to 6 days ahead are available from European Centre for Medium Range Forecasts.
Online Weather Interface offer an Aberdeen forecast, a North-East regional forecast and a full selection of daily and 4-day regional forecasts. One page includes a general sailing outlook forecast.
You can obtain severe weather warnings from the Aberdeen Weather Centre.
You can also obtain direct access to the Met Office summary North of Scotland forecast and UK forecasts, including the Inshore Waters and Shipping. A Regional Map defines the standard forecast areas in Britain, with forecasts from an adjoining table. From another map, you can see current UK weather conditions, including those at Aberdeen.
The current weather at offshore marine buoys around Britain can be checked by clicking on the symbols 'B' shown on the map.
The Dundee Satellite Receiving Station is excellent for both current and archive images from polar orbiting satellites. Register, free, as a user.
Finally, the US airforce offer access to a comprehensive document on Aberdeen's climate for those who would like to know our monthly and yearly averages.

Notice that for the "Universities" map you can go directly to one of the functions of an institution selected from the list to the left of the map.
Stuck for a spelling, meaning or synonym? Use NISS Dictionaries or the OED on line directly (access password needed).
Search the National rail enquiries, buy cheap rail tickets or travel by National Express bus or Citylink bus; look up services or the yellow pages or tides around the country; buy internet books or cds; for a wider range of sites, use NISS references travel or bookshops & publishers; for car journeys, see the AA route planner.
