Interventions for the prevention and treatment of Obesity - A 199 page document which is the full version of a review, an abbreviated version of which was published in the International Journal of Obesity 21: 715-737.
The Counterweight Programme, launched in 2000, is a multi-centre practice nurse led obesity management project being conducted in 80 general practices in 7 regions of the UK; Aberdeen, Bath, Birmingham, Glasgow, Hammersmith, Leeds and Luton.
The Foresight Programme uses the scientific evidence base from across a wide range of disciplines to identify the broad range of factors that influence obesity, looking beyond the obvious.
SCOPE is a joint project by the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) and the International Obesity TaskForce (IOTF) of IASO. It is aimed at developing a coherent approach to obesity management throughout Europe.
