Move in Weekend
Moving into halls
The official move in weekend is the weekend before the AUSA freshers week activity kicks off. This is the day you collect your keys, meet your new house/flatmates and arrange your social calendar for the next week before settling down to academic life!
Please be aware that traffic can be very heavy during move in weekend and parking is limited at Hillhead.
There are no parking facilities for students on Campus for the Crombie, Johnston, King's and Elphinstone Road Halls.
A Helping Hand
They’ll be plenty of people to answer your questions and offer support when you move in - the Students’ Association Freshers’ Volunteers (identifiable by their T-shirts), SRAs, the Accommodation team and Porters will be on campus each day to help out.
Freshers’ Volunteers will also be at the railway station and bus stations to guide you to the mini buses that can transfer you to the Halls. Check out AUSAs website for more details on this service..
