What Not to Bring
Seeing as you’ll have a few hundred neighbours for the next year you need to be considerate and contribute to the community spirit.
We have listed some of the things that you are not allowed in Halls - the list is not exhaustive.
We don’t allow the following:
- Replica guns
- Laser guns
- Laser pens
- Paintball guns
- Air guns
- Sporting knifes
- Swords
- Water pistols/bombs
- Fan heaters
- Shisha pipes
- Candles, including tea lights

A separate booklet detailing your obligations as a Hall tenant also explains the terms in your contract. As a tenant of Halls, it is important that you take time to read the guide, paying particular attention to information regarding fire alarms and the evacuation procedures set in place for YOUR SAFETY and to help ensure the safety of your FRIENDS in Halls.
If you’re unsure about what you can and can’t bring then speak to the Management Team straight away. We have to confiscate unsuitable items - so save yourself the hassle!
