Adam Smith House

Adam Smith is is located in Hillhead student village. Refurbished during summer 2010.

Adam Smith, Fyfe and Wavell are all very similar styles. Residents are housed in corridor style rooms with wash hand basins in all rooms.

Each floor contains on average 38 single study room with single beds (19 people per side). 9 people will share the larger kitchen and there are 2 smaller kitchens either side that an additional 5 people share. All 19 people share 4 toilets and 3 showers per side.

Each corridor has a small communal keypad entry kitchen area with lockable cupboards, and shared showers and toilets. Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezers and kettle but you must take your own crockery, pots and pans.

Please note that no bedding is supplied. You must supply your own duvets, pillows and linen. You can order or pick these up from ASDA, Tesco or Argos.

Kitchens and bathrooms/toilets are cleaned daily Monday – Friday, but the cleaning of your room is your responsibility. A bucket, mop and sweeping brush are also supplied.

Wavell

Wavell is is located in Hillhead student village. Refurbished during summer 2010.

Esslemont is located in Hillhead student village. Refurbishment to start 2012.

Self catering flats for 6 persons, single study bedrooms, with single beds, with shared kitched and bathroom facilities.

Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezers and kettle but you must take your own crockery, pots and pans.

Please note that no bedding is supplied. You must supply your own duvets, pillows and linen. You can order or pick these up from ASDA, Tesco or Argos.

Please note that if you accept Esslemont House, you will be required to move permanently to another Hall during the Christmas vacation (i.e. 24 December 2012 and 6 January 2013), if you are unable to do this, you should consider a different accommodation option.

Keith House

Keith House is located in Hillhead student village. This hall is allocated to PGDE and Postgraduate students.

Hector Boece Court is located in Hillhead student village.

North Court

North Court is located in Hillhead student village and are usually reserved for mature undergraduates and post graduate students..

Flats for 4-5 persons, single study bedrooms with wash hand basin in room, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezers and kettle but you must take your own crockery, pots and pans.

Please note that no bedding is supplied. You must supply your own duvets, pillows and linen. You can order or pick these up from ASDA, Tesco or Argos.

A cleaner will clean the stairwells only. Vaccum cleaners, bucket, mop and sweeping brush are supplied.

South House

South House is located in Hillhead student village.

Flats for 5-7 persons, single study bedrooms with wash hand basin, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

There are 4 en-suite flats that are normally reserved for disabled persons.(£118 en-suite)

Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, cooker, fridge freezers and kettle but you must take your own crockery, pots and pans.

Please note that no bedding is supplied. You must supply your own duvets, pillows and linen. You can order or pick these up from ASDA, Tesco or Argos.

A cleaner will clean the stairwells only. Vaccum cleaners, bucket, mop and sweeping brush are supplied.

New Carnegie Court

New Carnegie Court is in the heart of the Hillhead Campus, which is just a short walk from the main University Complex.

The property offers ensuite rooms in 5 bedroom flats, all with 3/4 size beds. Each kitchen/living room has good storage and two fridge freezer units. There's an onsite laundry room, vending machines, bike storage and limited car parking. Contents insurance and all utility bills are included in the price. Internet access is a university provided service.

This property is Unite managed - but your contract will be with the University.

Kitchens come supplied with a microwave, cooker and kettle but you must take your own crockery, pots and pans.
