The University is a key player in the development of schools programmes, the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence, and continuing professional development support for teachers. Here you'll find links to some of our resources and to partner organisations we host or support.

  • School of Education
    Professional development for teachers.
  • Natural History Centre
    Hands-on education in our natural world. Schools visits and outreach is offered for primary and secondary levels.
  • Satrosphere
    Aberdeen’s own science centre hosts an education programme for schools and opportunities for teachers.
  • Special Collections Centre, University Library
    School visits and workshops offered on a variety of topics. A chance to engage directly with the University’s wonderful rare books and archive collections.
  • TechFest-SetPoint
    The North-East's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) broker is hosted by the University. TechFest-SetPoint also run a year-round events programme including the CREST award scheme.
