Professor Stephen Logan
A professor of neuroscience, Stephen Logan became Senior Vice-Principal in 2004 and directs, oversees and monitors the processes of planning, finance and the development of strategic plans to support the University’s ambition to be ranked a top 100 world university. Professor Logan is a director of three University spin-out companies based in Singapore and a Board member of the Aberdeen City and Shire Economic Forum (ACSEF). He has served on the Scottish Higher Education Funding Council and as Chairman of Grampian University Hospitals NHS Trust and as a member of NHS Grampian.
Stephen Logan was born in Glasgow and educated at Annan Academy, Dumfriesshire and the University of St Andrews.
