Mr. Hall has more than thirty years of experience in general management, large scale business change and consulting in the private and public sectors. He recently retired as Chief Executive of the Identity and Passport Service and as a member of the Home Office Board. Prior to that, Mr. Hall spent thirty years with Accenture and its predecessor organisations. He held a number of management roles in Accenture and was for a number of years a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Mr Hall was a member of the Commission on Public Policy and British Business (1996-1997) and was a member of the Economic Affairs Committee of the CBI (1990-2002). He is also a Trustee of Save Britain’s Heritage and served for several years as a member of Council of Cheltenham Ladies’ College.
Mr Hall was born in Manchester, but was brought up in and around Edinburgh. He attended Edinburgh Academy and the University of Aberdeen. At University he studied Politics and International Relations, graduating in 1976 MA (Hons) in Political Studies.
