Brian Pack, Chief Executive of ANM Group Ltd, chaired the previous Rowett Institute Governing Body. He is a highly respected figure in UK agriculture and food sectors. After working as Senior Agricultural Economist with the North of Scotland College of Agriculture, Brian Pack joined Mackies, the extensive farming and ice cream business, becoming Managing Director in 1984. Six years later, he joined ANM and since then has played a prominent role in the industry, particularly the red meat sector. He a past director of Grampian Enterprise and is a member of Grampian Food Forum. A Fellow of the Royal Agricultural Societies, he was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 1999 for service to agriculture, food and marketing
