Following a successful career as a Merchant Banker in London, Audrey Baxter returned to the family business in 1988 and rose through the ranks to her current appointment, Chairman and Chief Executive, of W A Baxter & Sons Ltd. Since taking on this role, the company has grown by more than 50 percent, with turnover this year reaching £115m. Audrey and her brother, Andrew, represent the fourth generation to own/manage Baxter’s and she plays a key role in expanding and directing the business in the UK and overseas markets. She is passionate about food and the quality of all products produced in Baxter’s’ growing number of factories. She is also a Non-Executive Director of FirstGroup Plc.
